Tiferet of Teaneck is an innovative elementary pod school program for Jewish girls in first through eighth grade.
Our individualized and student-led approach to education fosters a deep and meaningful connection to learning while offering a warm and nurturing environment where each child is seen, valued and empowered.
At Tiferet, no two students learn the same way-and that’s by design.
Our individualized instruction allows each girl to thrive at her own pace, guided by curiosity, creativity, and connection. Rooted in Torah values and with a strong emphasis on middos and social and emotional development, we support the whole child as she builds confidence, collaboration skills, and a love of learning.

In addition to our full day programming, we offer classes, workshops and events for Jewish homeschooling families in Bergen county and the surrounding areas. Our programs include Tiferet Teens, a weekly full-day experience for homeschooled teen girls, Tiferet Tots, an afterschool program for children ages 3–5 and Tuesdays at Tiferet, speciality classes led by homeschool volunteers. Tiferet is the proud host of Morah Perel’s Creating Kindness Club, a monthly Sunday program open to the entire community that combines creative crafting with meaningful chesed opportunities.
